Transition state is an organization run by a group of McMaster students who are looking to help STEM students entering their first year of university!
We are currently operating under a dedicated team of upper-year students from a wide variety of STEM programs.

Through our program/course-specific events, social media content, academic services, STEM Representatives and more, we hope to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that is able to meet students where they are at and provide them with the tools and resources they need to reach their academic goals.

Growing up in a small town and coming from a highschool that wasn’t STEM-focused, I found the transition to university especially difficult. This experience, along with that of many friends, is what motivated me to start Transition State!
